about Aurelia

Aurelia is an artist, designer and curator living in London.

Aurelia recently completed a Masters In Curating Contemporary Art at The Royal College of Art in 2024. Her research primarily focused on ephemeral media, such as light, sound and smell in exhibition spaces. She has co-curated additional exhibitions, including ‘Are We here Yet?’ in April 2024 at OHSH in London, which showcased emerging painters, sculptors and creative writers.

Aurelia received an MA (Hons) in Art History from the University of St Andrews in 2023, and a Foundation Diploma in Painting from Camberwell College of Art in 2019.

Her Art History dissertation, ‘From Bach to Boogie-Woogie: A Liberation of Musical Expression in Art of the early 20th Century’, explored the intermediality of music and art. As a music scholar, Aurelia grew up surrounded by music, and continues to sing in choirs. The relationship between sound, colour, and form, is consistent throughout her work.
