The Four Elements

The Four Elements, (40 x 50”), tempera gouache on canvas, 2020.

This work is an abstraction based on the four elements: earth, water, air and fire. The customer wanted a large scale, bright and bold artwork to fill the wall in their conservatory. The flame particularly resonated with them, with this imagery sparking an association with special personal experiences. Other requested elements included sun and moon motifs.
